I love Dr Z. and his entire staff! I always have a pleasant experience at their office, even when I am in pain and need their care.
And care is the perfect word for it. I never feel like I am just a number or anything like that. Dr. Z makes me feel like I matter. I trust my health to his care and trust the people he refers me to as well. My husband and our family all pretty much go to Dr. Z.
I tell anyone and everyone if they need chiropractic or sports medicine treatment to go see him. I know he really cares about his patients and wants them to get better so they do NOT have to come and see him all the time. That is completely different from most medical professionals. Most due the bare minimum, whether it is because of time, space, or money. Dr. Z does his best ALL the time and we are very thankful that we are under his care.
After my first appointment with him 3 years ago he called me that night at 8:00 to make sure I was doing as well as I could given the condition I was in at the time. I had NEVER had any medical profession do that for me ever. I could tell he was actually interested in my well being, not that he was just trying to keep a patient on his roster.
I could go on and on about how wonderful Dr. Z and his staff are but really, the best way to understand it is to experience it. Trust Dr. Z and his staff, they care about everyone who walks through their doors.

I was involved in a car accident 12 years ago and was rear ended by a truck that was traveling approximately 50 mph. I had never fully recovered from my neck injury and, in fact, was getting progressively worse with neck stiffness and numbness in both of my hands. I was told that it would never get better, unless I had surgery. I have been seeing Dr. Zappala for 4 years and he has been able to stop the progression of damage from my injury. I have (almost) full range of motion and no longer have the numbness. I am so thankful to have him as my Chiropractor. He’s the best there is!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Z for over 15 years. I would highly recommend him for numerous reasons. The gifts that he has given to me are care, nurturing, integrity, knowledge, understanding and most of all results.

I have been a patient, and friend, of Joe Zappala for over 10 years. He runs a very efficient practice, has a personable staff, and keeps me "physically able." When he is not working, he is an excellent golfer, who will help you escape a sand trap, if you need the help.

I want to thank you, Dr. Zappala for all your encouragement, support and understanding that you have given Kylie. I am convinced that coming to see you the day before her competition was key to her dancing her personal best and winning Grand Prix. Not only have you taken the time to listen to what she needs from you as far as her physical demands, you gave her the mind set she needed to go out and do her thing by taking the time to talk to her and give her the emotional "adjustment" she needed. She came into your office an emotional wreck (nervous and not feeling on top of her game) that happened to need a physical adjustment; she left feeling great physically, but most importantly, was emotionally confident and at peace that she could do her best. You treated the complete dancer and didn't just stop at the physical treatment that most doctors would have done. I really can't say enough to how much we appreciate all that you do for her!! I have known Dr. Joseph Zappala for over 20 years. During that time, he has come be my PCP (Primary Care Physician). Why use a chiropractor as my PCP? The reason is simple, Dr. Z is a talented diagnostician, who is highly pragmatic and cares only for the positive results of his patients. He does not believe that Chiropractic can solve all ailments. And never hesitates to refer me to another professional; whether that be a traditional physician or someone in holistic medicine. He is a results oriented professional who is more concerned with the well-being of his patients than the bottom-line of his business. During our association, I have referred over 100 people to his care. All have thanked me for the introduction and have continued as his patients to this day. I feel that there can be no higher praise for a medical professional than the continued patronage of his patients. Bottom line: He's talented. He cares about your health. He never stops educating himself. He is results oriented. He operates with a very high level of integrity. My life is better because of my association!

My hip joints have been consistently popping out of alignment since the birth of my first child four years ago. After a couple visits, I was astounded that I had absolutely no pain! I also didn't have to revisit this same issue later because of his treatments during and after my second pregnancy.

Dr. Zappala is a phenomenal caring chiropractor! I have had a hip issue for some time and he has managed to fix the pain in my right hip. He has great patient management skills. I love when I go into to see him because he listens to what I have to say instead of the usual doctor that will just adjust you and send you on your way. If you are a golfer or you play sports or you just feel rickety, you definitely need to schedule with Dr. Zappala, he will make sure he spends quality time with you making sure all your painful needs are being met.

I would like to personally and professionally endorse Dr. Joseph Zappala DC. (AKA: Dr. Z). He has helped me and my husband to feel better, improve our health and maintain an active lifestyle. As an RN I am responsible for the employees who are injured in the workplace. I am sitting here feeling much better after my chiro appt with Dr. Z (if you live in Orange County, I highly recommend him http://www.southwesthealth.us.previewdns.com/ ). My neck was locked up again and my shoulder was twittering with pain. It was awful. I have been looking forward to a muscle relaxer when I get home as soon as I get to work, and I hate the feeling of the muscle relaxer except that it provides relief. The foggy head side effect is completely undesirable. Anyhow, Dr. Z released my neck and I feel somewhat human again....except for the fogginess.

I have been to many chiropractors over my lifetime and went to see Dr Zappala upon recommendation of my wife. Not only is Dr Z a great guy and superb chiropractor, he is the one guy who I would want adjusting my spine. His adjustments are very precise and he only adjusts what needs to be adjusted. No rack 'em and crack 'em in Dr Zs office. He spends time with each client and has many, many, additional resources to draw upon to really complement his work and ensure the client gets the best possible care. Really, I can't say enough about Dr. Z. He gets my highest recommendation, without reservation.
